November Honors Announced

WESTMINSTER, MD - Cadet Airman First Class Chris Kaczorowski, of Westminster, was named Honor Cadet for November at the Carroll Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol. The announcement was made on November 29 at Winters Mill High School in Westminster.
        The squadron's cadet commander, Cadet Major Jacob Reed, announced his choice based on Kaczorowski's attendance at meetings, participation in activities, achieving high scores on testing, and his willingness to serve.
        Kaczorowski, 15, attends Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown, Pennsylvania. He has been a member of the Carroll Composite Squadron for almost one year.
        In addition to the Honor Cadet, Reed also announced that Bravo flight was the Honor Flight for November. Led by Cadet Captain Nicholas Krionderis, of Westminster, Bravo flight excelled in all areas during the month. Flights are judged by attendance, academics, discipline, and progression through the cadet program.   
        Members of Bravo flight include cadets Nick Bamford, Tyler Czarnowsky, Tom Dembeck, Russell Gehret, Alex Gnau, Matt Madairy, Justin Main, Nicholaus Minkowski, John Parks, Ryan Ritchie, Justin Sova, and Rick Stuart.
        Civil Air Patrol, the official U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, is a civilian, volunteer, nonprofit, service organization. CAP's cadet programs provide young men and women with a safe and motivating environment in which to grow and explore opportunities in the military and aviation industries. Cadets progress through a 16-step program of leadership and aerospace education.
         The Carroll Composite Squadron meets Tuesday evenings at the Winters Mill High School on Gorsuch Road in Westminster. Prospective cadets, ages 12-18, and their parents are always welcome. More information can be found at www.carrollcap.org.
