MD Air National Guard Shadow Program

Carroll Squadron’s own C/TSgt Zabetakis, and five other cadets from squadrons across the Maryland Wing, participated in a four-day program to explore the Maryland Air National Guard this summer. The Air National Guard Shadow program ran from August 7-10 2002 and consisted of tours of aircraft and ANG facilities, as well as hands-on participation in Air National Guard activities. During the four-day event, cadets participated in activities ranging from assisting with maintenance of the 175th wing’s A-10 and C-130 aircraft, touring base facilities, and even observing an A-10 attack runs at Bollen Range.
