CADET Roster
"I pledge that I will serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol
Cadet Program, and that I will attend meetings regularly,
participate actively in unit activities, obey my officers,
wear my uniform properly, and advance my education
and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to
young including aerospace education, people to progress at their own pace leadership training, physical fitness
and moral leadership.  Cadets compete for academic scholarships to further their studies in fields such as
engineering, science, aircraft mechanics, aerospace medicine, meteorology, as well as many others.

Whatever your interests-survival training, flight training, photography, astronomy-there's a place for you
in CAP's cadet program.  Each year, cadets have the opportunity  to participate in special activities at the
local, state, regional or national level.  Many cadets will have the opportunity to solo fly an airplane for the
first time through a flight encampment or academy.  Others will enjoy traveling abroad through the
    International
Program is developed around five program elements:  Leadership, Character Development, Aerospace
Education, Physical Fitness, and Activities.  As cadets participate in these five elements, they advance
through a series of achievements, earning honors and increased responsibilities along the way.

The Carroll County Composite Squadron conducts a variety of training and volunteer activities during the
    year. These include:

    - Emergency Services TrainingObservation/Training Flights (O-Flights)
    - MD Air National Guard Cook Detail
    - Regular Uniform Inspections and Physical Training
    - Color guard and Parades
    - Squadron Fund-raising and Recruiting
    - Parent Sponsored Activities (balloon flights, air shows, museum visits)  READ MORE
