SENIOR GREAT START - Tuesday, 26 February 2019 - The senior great start session #3 will take place on February 19th.  If you did not attend session one or two, don’t worry. You should still attend this and future sessions. This is a great opportunity to learn all you need to know to be effective in your first year as a senior member, or if you want to learn more about the program. AWARDS BANQUET COMMITTEE - The work of the Banquet Committee is underway in planning the Awards Banquet to be held on Tuesday, 19 March 2019.  If you would like to be part of the Committee or to help out in any way, please notify First Sergeant Grasley at horsegrass7@gmail.com or SM Grasley at lgrasley627@gmail.com .

SENIOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES -  There are upcoming training opportunities for seniors.  There will be a Training Leaders of Cadets course held on 16 February, 2019. Click here to sign up.  Also, there will be a Squadron Leadership School held on 16-17 February, 2019. To register for SLS, send your approved Form 17 to Maj Stacey McManus at smcmanus@cap.gov. Both of these courses will be held at MDQG Headquarters.

HAM RADIO LICENSE - The Carroll County Amateur Radio Club will be hosting an entry level amateur radio training and testing. the training will be held 27 and 28 April 2019 and testing will be held on 11 May 2019. This will take place at the training center in Westminster, MD. There is no charge for the class, but pre-registration is required, and participants will need to supply their own manual which can be ordered from Amazon.  See the attached flyer for more information if interested.

TWE 2019 - Tri-Wing Encampment Dates have been announced!  Save the Date!  21 to 28 July 2019.  Tri-Wing Encampment is a great experience especially for the first year cadets.  Attending TWE is a requirement to promote past the Mitchell Award.
